Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Hire

The Mercedes SLS is an eye-catching supercar which takes the style from heritage Mercedes’ and brings it right into 2011. Designed to be the spiritual successor to the classical 300SL Gullwing, the SLS AMG takes that car’s long bonnet, short rear end and gullwing doors to create one of the most special looking supercar’s available today.

In essence replacing the SLR Supercar, although at a lower price, the SLS had to have the performance to match its looks, and it managed to do this with an AMG 6.2 litre V8 engine producing an enormous 570bhp. This allows the car to go from 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds, and onto an electrically limited top speed of 197mph, which is more than enough!

The SLS AMG isn’t a light car compared to something like the McLaren MP4-12C or Ferrari 458 Italia, but it is a supercar of a different nature; one built to push you back in your seat when you put your foot down and propel you forward faster than it thought possible. However, it will also surprise you in the twisty stuff, as the huge wheels and tyres give the car grip seemingly forever.
